Overview
There is no better place to have your first rock climbing experience than the peculiar shapes of Montserrat. The famous conglomerate rock offers climbers an unforgettable experience. This route is exclusively designed for absolute beginners interested in learning basic rock climbing techniques surrounded by unparalleled scenery.
We will start our day fitting all the necessary safety gear before taking a short approach hike to warm up for about half an hour to our chosen crag sector. Our expert instructors will teach you safety principles, how to tie the figure-eight knot, basic movement techniques on rock, and how to rappel down. Every climber will progress at their own pace completing easy climbs up to standard fifth grade (5.a/5.b French scale). After finishing the sport climbs, we will replenish our energy sharing some incredible views of the ridges.
